Code of Conduct
Welcome to Triple Triad Advance! These forums and chatrooms are here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss ideas, give game play advice, and converse about any other aspects of Triple Triad Advance with other players. Community forums and chatrooms are at their best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating in these forums and chatrooms.
The guidelines and rules listed below explain what behavior is expected of you and what behavior you can expect from other community members. Note that the following guidelines are not exhaustive, and may not address all manner of offensive behavior. As such, the staff members shall have full discretion to address any behavior that they feel is inappropriate. Also, suspension or banishment from the game may result in the same in regard to forum and chatroom(s) access. Your access to these forums and chatrooms are a "privilege," and not a "right." The Staff reserves the right to suspend your access to these forums and chatrooms at any time for reasons that include, but are not necessarily limited to, your failure to abide by these guidelines.
We reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case by case basis.
The action we take may be more lenient or more severe than those listed under each category.
IMPORTANT
General:
- Players are allowed to have up to two accounts. Clan Leaders are allowed to make an extra account for their clans as long as the clan account is clearly labeled so.
- If a player is found to have more than the allowed number of accounts. Those accounts can/will be deleted and possibly banned.
- Please refrain from hassling other players, this includes verbal abuse and bad sportsmanship. Other people are here to have fun not be bullied, so please show respect to all members of staff and other players.
- If a player is found to be verbally abusive in games they will receive a fine/ban.
- You will not intentionally be in or attempt to be in multiple games at the same time, whether it be with a single account, or multiple accounts. This is not what multiple accounts are intended for.
- A player found to be intentionally in or attempting to be in multiple games at the same time will receive a ban.
- You may not play more than one account at a given time. If you wish to use your second account, you must log out of your first.
- If a player is found to be playing both simultaneously, it will result a ban and possible deletion of both accounts involved.
- Game accounts that are not logged into for more than 6 months are subject to deletion.
- To maintain an account at TTA you must log in at least once every 6 months.
- It is possible to get an account deleted for inactivity back. In order to do so, you will need to know the account's ID and approximately when it was last used.
- Spamming in games such that it disrupts the game ie. typing large amounts of incoherent text across the screen is not permitted.
- If a player is found to be excessivly spamming in games they will receive a fine/ban.
- Stacking cards is considered cheating and will be punished as such. Stacking can be defined as having your account set up with only specific levels and/or card types to play random at an unfair advantage.(ex removing all but 7,7 cards from level 5 on your account to play level 5 random games.)
- If a player is found to be stacking they will receive a ban.
- Boosting accounts is considered cheating and will be punished as such. Boosting refers to having one account intentionally lose over and over to another account for the wins and points.
- If a player(s) is/are found to be boosting they will receive a ban and lose the accounts.
- Repeatedly timing out to avoid playing specific players is not allowed.
- If a player(s) is/are found to be repeatedly be timing out, they will temporarily lose access to the create game page.
- Cheating in any form will not be tolerated.
- If a player is found to be cheating.
That player will lose their account and receive a temporary/permanent ban.
- Players are not to be selling accounts and cards for money.
- If a player is found to be trying to sell an account or cards for money, they will lose the account.
Inappropriate Behavior:
Language or links to websites containing language or images which fall under the following categories is deemed to be Inappropriate Behavior.
- Racial/Ethnic - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - promote racial/ethnic hatred, are recognized as a racial/ethnic slur or allude to a symbol of racial/ethnic hatred.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a temporary ban.
- Extreme Sexuality/Violence - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts and refer to extremely violent real life actions.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a temporary ban.
- Real-Life Threats - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - refer to violence in any capacity.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a temporary ban.
- Distribution of Real-Life Personal Information - this category includes - Releasing any real-life information about other players or staff members without prior permission from that person.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a permanent ban.
- Sexual/Gender Orientation - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - insultingly refer to any aspect of sexual or gender orientation pertaining to themselves or other players.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a temporary ban.
- Posting Cheats, Hacks, Trojan Horses, or Malicious Programs - This category includes - posting links to cheats, hacks, or malicious viruses / programs.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a permanent ban.
- Impersonating a Staff Member - This category includes -
Passing yourself off as a Staff Member.- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning.
- Obscene/Vulgar - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - Are an inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions and are pornographic in nature or otherwise considered objectionable.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning or a temporary ban depending upon severity.
- Harassing or Defamatory - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - Insultingly refer to other players, Staff Members, or groups of people.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning or a temporary ban depending upon severity.
- Ongoing harassment - Harassment takes many forms, and is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent. Repeatedly targeting a specific player with harassment can lead to more severe action. The idea behind this is to prevent any one player from consistently being uncomfortable in the forum and chatrooms.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning or a temporary ban depending upon severity.
- Major Religions or Religious Figures - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - Negatively portray major religions or religious figures.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning or a temporary ban depending upon severity.
- National - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - Promote national hatred, Are recognized as national slurs and Allude to symbols of national hatred.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning or a temporary ban depending upon severity.
- Illegal Activities - This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which - Refer to performing illegal activities.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning.
- Spamming and Trolling - This category includes - Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish, Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums, Causing disturbances in the forums and/or chatrooms, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters and Making non-constructive posts.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning.
- Advertising - This category includes advertisement of - Any non-beneficial, non- Triple Triad Advance related , organizations, or websites.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a ban.
- Discussing Disciplinary Actions - This category includes - Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a player, including chat logs and email correspondence between a player and a Staff Member.
- If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will receive a warning.
IMPORTANT
- Repeatedly violating any area of the Triple Triad Advance Forum and Chatroom Code of Conduct, including the areas detailed below, will often result in permanent banishment from the forum, chatrooms and games.
- This policy is not language-restrictive. Language that falls under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether it is inappropriate in English or any other language.
- Players that have been banned will not have their bans removed in order to play in tournaments that they've signed up for.

The bottom line is that we want Triple Triad Advance to be a fun and safe environment for all players. Triple Triad Advance is a Massive Multiplayer Online Game, and the key words are "Massively Multiplayer." In playing this game and posting on its forum and chatrooms, you will encounter thousands of other players who share different experiences and come from vastly different backgrounds. While certain language and images may not be offensive to you, consider the fact that that same language and images may have a completely different effect on someone else.
